Double Trouble Timing Information

Double Trouble is a gun-to-chip timed race, i.e. because the start
and finish are not at the same location, we will read your chip at
the finish but not at the start of the race. We will be using the
IPICO RFID timing system. This timing system works by reading
your finish time when you cross over the mats at the finish line.

To attach the IPICO chip:
Untie your shoe
Run your shoelaces through the holes in the tag
Retie your shoe
You do not have to unlace the eyelets of your shoe

This flat IPICO chip/tag is attached to your shoe flat against the
shoelaces and will need to be returned after the race. In an effort
to stay green, we do not use plastic chip ties, which create
non-recyclable waste.
